Stop the ''Messenger Service'' Pop-up Ads

"If you are referring to a text pop up with 'messenger service' in the title bar do this:

click start>run> type services.msc

In the new window find 'messenger', right click, select properties and disable. This will get rid of it. This is actually built into windows..."
